The infrastructure committee announces new programs to finance researchers in ecotoxicology.
The Analytical training Program aims to offer an advanced training to students and members in specific ecotoxicological analyses relevant to their professional development. This program promotes the various infrastructures within the group and encourages new collaborations between EcotoQ members. To participate in this program, a regular member can receive students, collaborating members or professional members within their installations to train them to use the infrastructures registered with the group.
The Program for participating in inter-laboratory comparison exercises encourages analytical platforms registered with EcotoQ to carry out inter-laboratory comparison exercises for specific analyses. This program reinforces the quality of the platforms registered in the database and contribute tot he sustainability of infrastrucutres (analytical, experimental or field) used for research in EcotoQ’s research areas, so that they remain functional and efficient for all members. Like all of EcotoQ’s programs, this program allows encourages collaboration between EcotoQ members. The amounts allocated can be used for the comparison exercise procedures like sending and receiving packagings, registering for the exercise, materials and participation in the interlaboratory comparison exercise.
These programs are added to the known and liked programs like the Access to Infrastructure and Training Program and the Infrastructure Support Program.
The Access to Infrastructure and Training and Infrastructure Support Programs are currently open. Applications are accepted until December 13, 2024. Comme nouveauté cette année, les budgets de ces deux programmes ont été augmentés à des maxima de 8 000$ et 15 000$ par projet, respectivement.
